About the project
The ifeel app is a therapeutic game that serves as a developmental tool for a child to better understand his feelings and social surroundings. It also serves as a mediator for expressing the variety of emotions that a child experiences personally and in social interactions in various situations.
The ifeel app is suitable for compulsory kindergarten ages, and the child should play it accompanied by a staff member from the kindergarten. At the start of the game, the child builds a personal character who is similar to himself and will accompany him throughout the game.Later on, the child experiences a number of games that focus on working on emotions. The app is based on memos from Apple and Emoji.
My Role
I created this app during my degree in photographic communication.
I was looking to create an app that could help visually impaired children.

The challenge
The main challenge was to find a platform that could integrate into the app and adapt it to visually impaired children.
After searching, I found Apple's memoji and integrated it into the app after adapting it to users who are visually impaired children. The children will be able to build a character that is similar to them and will accompany them throughout the game, in addition to learning about facial expressions.

- Another challenge is looking for games that will be integrated into the app and can add value to the app and contribute to the children's development and integration into society.
Promo Video
In addition to the app, I made a video that explains that there is an explanation of the app.
Research
After consulting with professionals who work with visually impaired children, I realized that there was a need to develop a therapeutic game which focuses on understanding the child's feelings, personally and in social interactions.
In the second stage I read studies on visually impaired children studies show that in early childhood, relationships and interactions significantly impact future development of communication and social skills. While a seeing child can adapt to the environment and infer hearing and sight at the same time, a child with a visual impairment often depends on adult mediation in order to gain an understanding of the situation in which he finds himself.
Solution
While searching for the solution for visually impaired children I discovered that there are no similar apps that can help visually impaired children understand emotions.
An app that will help visually impaired children understand how emotions affect them and help them cope with various social environments.
Wireframe
I used Apple's emoji and changed it to suit children, instead of using the names of the organs I used emoji. In the first stage, the child builds a character for himself that will accompany him in the game.  The child chooses the color of skin, hair, eyebrows, eyes, nose and glasses, by choosing the organs inside the child learns about himself.
Games stage
In the second part of the app, the child can choose to play the games that will help him understand emotions and social situations.
Final Design
1. In the first stage, the child     makes up a character that resembles him.
2. In the second stage the child will choose what he wants to do.
3. At the stage of how I feel today, the child will choose what emotion he wants to work on today.
4. At this point the child chooses which game to play.
